I was hired by California-based metal band Zero Theorem to create an animated music video for their upcoming release ‘Joke’.

The client gave me complete creative freedom to develop a concept and visual style. The only stipulation being that it had to include their existing ‘The Child’ character, a killer baby that was described as a cross between a Chucky doll and IT, the shapeshifting devil clown.

My concept was that ‘The Child’ emerges from the ground of a planet and sets off on a rampage, transforming the planet’s inhabitants into cackling demons along the way.
